    Hi everybody!! I'm looking for drivers and software for a vivicam 55. I had a disk at one time but it's long gone now and I've spent the better part of a week looking on the web for them but have only found sites that want money to update all the drivers on my comp that it says are out of date . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What version of Windows do you have? 98, XP, Vista?

    Sakar bought Vivitar. We sent an email asking when they will be posting the drivers for Vivitar cameras. We will post their reply here.

    Okay, here is their response...

    Thank you for contacting us with inquiry regarding the Vivitar product.

    Unfortunately, Syntax-Brillain, a company which owned the Vivitar brand, declared bankruptcy in July and has been totally dissolved. Sakar International has purchased and is reviving the Vivitar brand name and we will be restoring and expanding the Vivitar product line over the next several months. While Sakar does not itself have any legal obligations with respect to Vivitar products manufactured under Syntax-Brillian’s stewardship, Sakar in the upcoming months hopes to be in a position to assist the customers of Syntax-Brillian’s Vivitar products. Please check back with us after February first.
