    USB Keyboard:
    * Manufacturer: Dell
    * Model Number: 06H257
    * FCC ID: AQ6-7D10

    I have a notebook computer with Vista SP1 on it.
    I decided to connect an old Dell USB keyboard to it that has media buttons labelled 1 through 7, that control as follows:
    (1) Volume down (-)
    (2) Volume up (+)
    (3) Music
    (4) Volume Mute (X)
    (5) Previus ( |<< )
    (6) Play/Pause ( >/|| )
    (7) Next ( >>| )
    There is also a recessed "half moon" sleep key between the F12 and PrintScreen keys.

    I can't get any of the media buttons to function and I cannot find any reference at Dell for a 06H257 keyboard, let alone find a driver for one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Vista simply recognizes it as a generic HID Keyboard Device.
