I have a JVC GR-D231U camera and my laptop is an HP Pavillion Entertainment PC dv6000 operating with Vista 32bit. I have connected the a camera to the laptop and the system automatic downloaded a driver (Victor PIX-MCV Video Capture). I use the MGI - Video Wave III program to download the video. It has worked but the image looks granular and jumpy. Windows Movie maker does not recognize the camera. Tried to look for a solution everywhere on the net to no avail. The JVC site is disappointing. Hope someone on the forum can help.

Unplug your camera from the computer and try this driver.
